Israel’s experience in media spans over two decades and includes various facets of the entertainment industry. He’s produced music-related products, directed documentaries, and founded Insomniac Magazine, a Hip Hop music publication that enjoyed nearly ten years in print and is currently in it's 22nd year online. He also hosts their podcast, "Sounds from the Underground." As the host of a radio show that spanned the better part of the ’90s, a journalist in print and online, and an educator, Israel has interviewed a multitude of prominent industry players, including multi-platinum artists, executives, and music icons. On the creative side, his music projects have been featured in a variety of publications, including Rolling Stone and Spin. Israel has also been quoted in music business books published by Billboard Books, and has been interviewed on various radio programs. He’s earned a B.A. in Public Relations and Advertising and an M.S. in Entertainment Business. Israel is an instructor and Department Chair in the Entertainment and Music Business degree programs at Full Sail University.
